The Utah Library Association was organized June 8, 1912 in the Salt Lake City & County Building. On the occasion of our centennial in 2012, Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert praised ULA for “providing its members with opportunities for library leadership, professional growth, networking, and community service, as well as for providing continuing education programs for Utah librarians and library employees.”
