Frequently Asked Questions about our StoryWalk© Books

  • If you buy a digital book, you will receive the digital download immediately.

    If you order the printed versions, we will ship all the pages of the book to you in the 17” x 11” format on thick, uv-resistant paper.

  • Our Print book sets are mailed to you. They are printed on high quality, thick cardstock. They can also be laminated at an extra charge, but if you have our Waterproof StoryWalk signs, no lamination is needed.

    Our Digital Downloads are sent straight to your email once purchased. If you are needing a new book in a pinch, or would rather print it off yourself at the office, this is the best option.

  • They will work with most. They are best fit for the Lark Signs, Read & Walk. It is a fully waterproof, UV-resistant, customizable StoryWalk© sign.

    But we offer lamination just in case you have a StoryWalk frame or a DIY StoryWalk.


    Most other StoryWalk© signs are 18” x 24”, but are not waterproof, so the pages would need to be laminated.

  • Many of our books include activity, literacy, or discussion prompts—encouraging kids to engage, think or act with the story.

    These activity prompts are created by Lark Signs. If you are an author submitting your books to us, you are more than welcome to create your own.

  • No. Digital downloads are for use by the purchaser only and may not be shared, forwarded, posted online, or used by another school, library, branch, or organization. For multiple locations, please purchase an additional copy for each installation.

    Our StoryWalk® books are licensed for StoryWalk® display use only. They may not be republished, adapted, distributed, or used for other products, promotions, or events without written permission.

  • Not sure how many panels you need? Check the book’s product page or title—each one shows the exact number of panels required.

    Most book are between 12 and 20 panels.

  • You will receive digitals order instantly.
    These are great for printing/laminating at your office.

    Shipping for the printed and/or laminated book sets takes about 7-10 business days.

  • All books include a title page! It is the same dimensions as the rest of the book which is 17” x 11”.

    None of our books include an instructions page or a start here page.

    But this might change in the future.
